William Marshall

SVP & GM, Defense at New Jersey Innovation Institute

William Marshall has spent their career in public service, working to improve the safety of their home state of New Jersey. William began their career at NJIT, where they worked to develop new technology for homeland security. William then went on to lead the Homeland Security Technology Systems Center at NJIT, and most recently, the Defense and Homeland Security Innovation Laboratory. In their current role as SVP & GM of Defense at the New Jersey Innovation Institute, William is continuing their work to make New Jersey a safe and secure place to live.

William Marshall's educational career includes earning a certificate in international relations and national security studies from Harvard University, a diploma in military security policy and strategy from the U.S. Army War College, a bachelor's degree in public administration from Roger Williams University, and a certificate in homeland security, law enforcement, firefighting and related protective services from P.

William Marshall reports to Simon Nynens, CEO. They are on a team with Jerry Vilbrun - CIO & Security Officer, Deirdre Letson-Christofalo - VP, Human Capital, and Jennifer D’Angelo - SVP & GM, Healthcare.
