Art Hendela

Art Hendela is a Senior University Lecturer at the New Jersey Institute of Technology since September 2016, coordinating and lecturing courses in Database Systems, Web Development, and Introduction to Information Systems. Additionally, Art serves as a Professor of Practice in Information Systems, integrating business and technical expertise into graduate and undergraduate courses. As the owner of Hendela System Consultants, Inc. since April 1988, Art has provided consulting services while holding previous IT consultancy roles at MAQUET and Schering-Plough. Art's early career included engineering roles at Exxon Chemical, with a focus on developing computer simulations and database applications. Educationally, Art holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems, an MS in Computer Science, and a BS in Chemical Engineering, all from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
