Chris Desantis

Chris DeSantis currently serves as the Interim Director of Undergraduate Studies and University Lecturer at the New Jersey Institute of Technology since August 2019. Prior to this, Chris was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Stockton University from September 2018 to June 2019 and a Lecturer at The Ohio State University from August 2011 to August 2018, where Chris focused on delivering engaging organic chemistry lectures and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Chris's research experience includes studying RNA interactions as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, conducting undergraduate research at Rutgers University, and interning at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Chris holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
