Ishani Patel is currently a Graduate Student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School since August 2021 and has been an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the New Jersey Institute of Technology since January 2019. Under the supervision of Dr. Gal Haspel, Ishani is engaged in a project that aims to develop a novel technique for studying neuronal regeneration post-injury. Previously, Ishani served as a Research Intern at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in the lab of Dr. Gopal Babu from May 2017 to September 2017 during a High School Summer Internship. Ishani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, earned in 2021, and graduated with a High School Diploma from Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health & Biomedical Sciences in 2018.
