Jivin Barve

Jivin Barve is currently serving as a Marketing and Outreach Officer for Amnesty International at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where efforts focus on advocating for human rights. Concurrently, Jivin is an Undergraduate Student Researcher in a Computational Biophysics Lab, exploring amyloid protein structures related to Alzheimer's disease. Additional experiences include roles as a Phonathon Caller, a Research Participant in the Neural Engineering for Speech and Hearing Lab, and extensive medical shadowing with various healthcare professionals in multiple specialties. Jivin also worked as a Medical Scribe at Palmetto Family Medical Group, assisting in outpatient care documentation, and has experience as a Student Grader at Kumon North America. Jivin holds a degree in Science, Technology, Society, Pre-Medicine from NJIT and has an Associate of Science degree in Biology from Central Piedmont Community College, alongside a strong educational background in human health and life sciences from Levine Middle College High School and the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
