Murat Guvendiren

Murat Guvendiren serves as the Director of the Materials Engineering Program and Associate Professor with Tenure at New Jersey Institute of Technology since September 2016, having previously held positions as Assistant Research Professor at Rutgers University and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Guvendiren's research expertise lies in the development of novel hydrogels and polymeric biomaterials, 3D printing technologies, tissue engineering, and biomimetic material design. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from Northwestern University and M.Sc. and B.S. degrees in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
