Teik C. Lim

President at New Jersey Institute of Technology

Teik C. Lim is the current President of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, a position they have held since January 2017. Prior to this, they served as the President ad interim of The University of Texas at Arlington from January 2017 to December 2022. From January 2004 to December 2017, they were the Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Cincinnati. From January 2002 to December 2004, they were an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Nuclear Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to that, they were an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama from January 1998 to December 2002. Teik began their career as a Research Scientist at the OSU Center for Automotive Research from January 1996 to December 1998, and then as a Senior Project Engineer at Structural Dynamics Research Corp. (SDRC) from January 1990 to December 1996.
