Ashley Mandaglio has a diverse work experience. Ashley began their career as a Drama Teacher in the NYC Department of Education in 2015 and subsequently worked in various roles within the education and arts sectors. Ashley served as a Theatre Teacher in the NYC Department of Education, inspiring and impacting over 150 students. Ashley also worked as an Education Associate at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts and a Recruitment Specialist at Teach For America. In 2017, they joined the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) as the Coordinator of Faculty Evaluation and Training, and eventually became the Manager of Professional Development. At NJPAC, they designed and implemented professional learning programs, curated a Social Justice Learning Series, and managed grants and partnerships with school districts. Ashley also worked as a Casting Intern at O'Connor Casting Company and held various internships in theater organizations. Ashley holds a teaching position in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools from 2011 to 2013.

Ashley Mandaglio holds a Master's Degree in Educational Theatre from New York University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Theatre and Mass Communication Studies at Florida State University from 2007 to 2011. Ashley also holds additional certifications, including a Certificate in Women in Leadership Masterclass from Corporate Class Inc., obtained in June 2021. Ashley obtained the New Jersey State Theatre K-12 certification from the New Jersey Department of Education in June 2017 and the New York State Initial Theatre K-12 certification from the NYC Department of Education in February 2016.
