Brittany Macaluso, MSW, is a dedicated social worker and case manager currently employed at the New Jersey Reentry Corporation since July 2023, where responsibilities include coordinating legal services. Previously, Brittany held the position of Policy and Advocacy Coordinator at The Lesniak Institute for American Leadership from May 2022 to July 2023 and completed a social work internship with the United States Attorneys’ Offices from September 2020 to May 2022. Additional experience includes serving as a writing tutor at Monmouth University and as a Youth Helpline Counselor at 180 Turning Lives Around, Inc., where support was provided to children and young adults. Brittany earned a Master of Social Work from Columbia University in 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Monmouth University, completed in 2021.

The New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC) is a non-profit agency with a social mission to remove all barriers to employment for court involved individuals. The NJRC is premised on the ambition to create an environment which promotes pro-social norms amongst court involved individuals, encouraging the establishment of attachments to positive rehabilitative cultures, strengthening bonds among peers who promote positive norms and values, and promoting family reunification to the end of increasing employment and decreasing recidivism. Participants receive individualized assessments and treatment plans that first address essential needs, including housing, treatment, mental health care, medical care, and access to health insurance and other public benefits to secure these essential needs.
