Jessica Whaley is an experienced social work professional currently serving as an Intake Coordinator at the New Jersey Reentry Corporation since January 2023, previously completing a social work internship. Prior experience includes working as a Case Manager at Youth Consultation Service from April 2022 to September 2023, and holding a Grant Consultant position at Stockton University from October 2020 to October 2021. Jessica's background also includes roles as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at John Brooks Recovery Center and as a Case Manager at Recovery Centers of America. Jessica is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work at Fairleigh Dickinson University, expected to be completed in May 2024, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stockton University.

The New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC) is a non-profit agency with a social mission to remove all barriers to employment for court involved individuals. The NJRC is premised on the ambition to create an environment which promotes pro-social norms amongst court involved individuals, encouraging the establishment of attachments to positive rehabilitative cultures, strengthening bonds among peers who promote positive norms and values, and promoting family reunification to the end of increasing employment and decreasing recidivism. Participants receive individualized assessments and treatment plans that first address essential needs, including housing, treatment, mental health care, medical care, and access to health insurance and other public benefits to secure these essential needs.
