Katie began their career in 2004 as a Press Aide in the Governor's Office of The State of New Jersey, where they developed public relations skills and worked closely with local weekly newspapers. In 2005, they joined New Jersey Resources as a Communications Specialist, handling media relations, internal communications, and serving as a spokesperson. Katie continued to grow in their role and became a Communications and Sustainability Specialist, adding responsibilities such as social media facilitation and press release writing.

In 2010, Katie joined New Jersey Natural Gas as a Marketing Analyst, leading the new business growth plan and generating marketing budgets and reports. Katie then moved to NJR Clean Energy Ventures in 2013, where they took on the role of a Business Analyst, responsible for the residential solar leasing program and market research. Katie later became a Manager, overseeing the Sunlight Advantage program and managing the channel partner network.

Returning to New Jersey Resources in 2018, Katie assumed the role of Manager - Corporate Strategy, guiding the company's strategic initiatives. Katie was subsequently promoted to Manager - Corporate Strategy & Sustainability, focusing on sustainability initiatives. Currently, they serve as the Director - Strategic Initiatives & Sustainability, leading the company's efforts in these areas.
