Vasant Kumar

Vasant Kumar is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading technology initiatives across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer for the New Jersey State Police since June 2022, Vasant Kumar oversees all technology operations, security, and budgeting. Prior roles include Vice President of Application Development & Delivery at ONIS Solutions, where integration of Salesforce and Ericsson Order Care was achieved, and Vice President of Engineering at Apacheta, overseeing mobile logistics development. Vasant Kumar's earlier experience includes leadership positions at PHH Mortgage, Comcast Corporation, and Verizon Communication, focusing on development improvement, e-commerce automation, and CRM application design. Vasant Kumar holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Temple University.
