John Geitner

John Geitner is a seasoned professional in energy, environment, and sustainability, currently serving as the Senior Director at NJ Transit since August 2013. Prior experience includes a role as Manager of Environmental Compliance at Hess Corporation from June 2005 to July 2013, and as a Consultant/Trainer at Lion Technology Inc. from April 2003 to May 2005. John began his career as a Senior Engineer at Metromedia Fiber Technology from January 2000 to April 2003. John holds a Master of Science (MS) in Earth/Environmental Science from Adelphi University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy with a minor in Chemistry from St. John's University.
