Ashley Bencan

Ashley Bencan is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic operations. As a Co-Founder of Knowtion since January 2020, Bencan has focused on providing tools for education practitioners. In the roles of Chief of Staff and Chief Operating Officer at New Jersey Tutoring Corps Inc and President and Co-Founder at ConnectED Workforce, Bencan has contributed significantly to educational initiatives. Previous positions at the New Jersey Department of Education involved directing strategic operations and managing talent-related functions across multiple offices. Bencan also has experience as an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania and as a teacher in the School District of Philadelphia and Teach For America. With a Master of Arts in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rollins College, Bencan combines academic expertise with practical experience in the education sector.
