Jerry Kaufman

Jerry Kaufman, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Data and Evaluation at New Life Centers, beginning in April 2024. Previously, Jerry held the position of Director of Research and Evaluation at Lawndale Christian Legal Center from February 2021 to January 2024, and also worked as the Research and Evaluation Manager. Jerry's earlier experience includes a tenure at NORC at the University of Chicago from 2014 to 2021, where significant contributions were made to the National Social Life, Health, and Aging Project. As a co-founder and executive director of Health Gives Hope from 2014 to 2019, Jerry managed operations and strategic planning for a health center in Ethiopia. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Chicago and a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Central Florida, among other degrees.
