David Montoya

David Montoya currently serves as the Interim Chief Information Officer at New Mexico Consortium, a position held since November 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing high-performance computing (HPC) initiatives. Montoya has been the President of Trenza, Inc. since October 2019, focusing on developing tools for performance metrics in HPC. A significant career was spent at Los Alamos National Laboratory from September 1991 to September 2019, where Montoya held the role of R&D Manager and was project lead for the DOE Exascale Project, focusing on software deployment and continuous integration infrastructure. Montoya holds an MBA in Finance and Information Management Systems from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a BA in Systems Analysis from New Mexico State University.
