Thea Kavanaugh

Thea Kavanaugh is a highly experienced Recreational Therapist and Educator who has worked in various institutions and organizations such as New Mexico Department of Health, Florida International University, Peak Behavioral Health, New Mexico State University, New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, Las Cruces Public Schools, Heartland Healthcare Center, and REAL Therapeutics, LLC. Thea's work involves providing education on socialization and sexuality to adults with developmental disabilities, teaching college courses on recreational therapy, conducting assessments and interventions for individuals with disabilities, and promoting self-determination and social inclusion among individuals with disabilities.
