Manny Barreras

Manny Barreras is the Cabinet Secretary at the New Mexico Department of Information Technology, a role held since September 2024, focused on advancing the delivery of technology solutions for state agencies. Prior to this position, Manny served as the Senior Territory Account Manager at Motorola Solutions from January 2005 to October 2024, where responsibilities included sales, strategic account management, and securing communication system contracts for public safety agencies, with deals ranging from $150k to $60M. Earlier career experience includes serving as Senior Manager for NEXTEL Communications from 2002 to 2004. Manny holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management with an emphasis in Professional Golf Management from New Mexico State University, earned in May 1994.
