Nafis Fuad

Nafis Fuad is a Compliance and Enforcement Team Lead at New Mexico Environment Department, focusing on heavy metal toxicity to aquatic organisms. As a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Connecticut, Nafis studies heavy metal uptake in aquatic life. With a background in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering, Nafis also has experience in research projects related to soil washing, copper recovery, and structural health assessment of bridges.
