Steve Sauceda

Vice President For Workforce Development at New Mexico Junior College

Steve Sauceda, MBA, has extensive experience in workforce development, currently serving as Vice President for Workforce Development at New Mexico Junior College since January 2007. In various roles at the college, including Dean of Workforce Training & Professional Studies and Director of Workforce Training, Steve has contributed to shaping training programs. Additionally, Steve operates Steve Sauceda Communications as the Owner and Workforce Training Coordinator, providing guest speaking on leadership and motivation. A former freelance columnist for the Hobbs News-Sun, Steve wrote a biweekly column and hosted the radio show Untucked with Steve Sauceda from March 2016 to November 2020, focused on themes of hope and resilience. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Eastern New Mexico University, a Bachelor's degree from the University of the Southwest, and an Associate degree from New Mexico Junior College.
