Meryl Swanson

Meryl Swanson is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant Solicitor General at the New Mexico Department of Justice since January 2018. Previously, Meryl Swanson held the position of Assistant District Attorney at the Second Judicial District Attorney's Office from August 2015 to January 2018 and worked as a Law Clerk at the Clark County District Attorney's Office from October 2014 to July 2015. Additional experience includes roles as a Law Clerk at the City of Albuquerque and the United States Attorney's Office, as well as a Research Assistant at the University of New Mexico. Meryl Swanson earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The University of New Mexico School of Law in 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from The University of New Mexico in 2011.
