Director Medicaid Fraud Control Unit at New Mexico Office of the Attorney General

Sean Sullivan has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2023. Sean is currently serving as the Director of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit at the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General. Prior to this role, they held various positions at the Second Judicial District Attorney's Office, including Deputy District Attorney, Supervising Assistant District Attorney, Assistant District Attorney in the Gang Crimes Division, and Assistant District Attorney in the Community Crimes Division. Sean also worked as a Summer Law Clerk at the United States Attorney's Office, a Legal Intern at the New Mexico Legislative Council Service, and as Majority Oversight Staff at the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Earlier in their career, they served as a Researcher at the Georgetown University Department of Government, and as a STEP employee at the USDA Forest Service Albuquerque Service Center.

Sean Sullivan completed their high school education at Saint Pius X High School between 2002 and 2006. Sean then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Organizational Leadership from The University of New Mexico from 2006 to 2010. Sean furthered their education with a Master of Arts degree in American Government from Georgetown University, which they completed between 2010 and 2011. Finally, they attended The University of New Mexico School of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from 2011 to 2014.
