Chris Rancier

Christine Rancier is currently a violist with the New Mexico Philharmonic and the Santa Fe Symphony and serves as Executive Assistant for the New Mexico Philharmonic. Previously, Christine was a member of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Albuquerque, the Jacksonville Symphony, the Tallahassee Symphony, and the Hartford Symphony. In addition to performing with orchestras, Christine is also the violist for the Eleganza String Quartet. Christine’s past teaching career included a studio for private violin and viola lessons and a position as adjunct professor at the College of St. Catherine. Christine has a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Hartford, Hartt School of Music and both a Master of Music and a Doctorate of Music from the Florida State University School of Music.
