Ruth Vargas

Ruth Vargas is an experienced mental health professional with a strong background in clinical social work and behavioral health. Currently serving as an Outpatient Therapist at New Mexico Solutions since May 2022, Ruth has previously held roles such as Behavioral Health Clinician at First Nations Community HealthSource and Clinical Lead for Behavior Management Specialist at The Community Lighthouse. Additional experience includes teaching as a substitute for grades K-12 at Kelly Services, conducting internships focused on early childhood mental health and inpatient therapy, and providing academic support as a Graduate Assistant at New Mexico Highlands University. Ruth holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, both from New Mexico Highlands University.
