Ray Thaler

Ray Thaler is an experienced executive currently serving as Director & Operating Partner at New Mountain Capital since July 2023. Previously, Thaler held the position of EVP, Strategy & Corporate Development at Cloudmed from September 2020 to June 2023, where significant growth was achieved, increasing revenue from $150M to $450M and attaining 30% year-over-year growth in 2022. Earlier roles include General Manager at Opendoor, overseeing operations for a major market, and Vice President of Digital Operations at Cotiviti, where Thaler led a 180-person product development team. Thaler began a career at Bain & Company as Case Team Leader, following a tenure in the United States Air Force, where Ray served as Operations Director and F-22 Pilot. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Stanford University and a degree from Auburn University.
