Mohamad Alayan

Mohamad Alayan is an experienced professional in the hospitality design and development sector, currently serving as Director of Mukaab Hospitality at New Murabba since March 2024. In this role, Mohamad focuses on shaping the hotel offering and brand positioning within a pioneering mixed-use destination. Prior to this, Mohamad held significant positions including Director of Development Technical Services at Jumeirah Group from January 2019 to March 2024, and Head of Design - Hospitality at Meraas from September 2015 to March 2024. With a background in design management, Mohamad has also worked as Design Manager at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels and Project Manager at WS Atkins and Partners Overseas. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Architecture & Urban Design from Lebanese University and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Beirut Arab University.
