Valerie Marchesi

Valerie Marchesi is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations. Currently serving as Development Manager at New Music USA since July 2021, Valerie focuses on the renewal and growth of contributed revenue from diverse sources. Prior to this role, Valerie held various positions at Marymount Manhattan College, culminating in the position of Director of Foundation Relations where nearly $1.5 million in grant funds were generated. Valerie's earlier experience includes roles at Planned Parenthood of Nassau County, Inc., where fundraising activities and donor management were key responsibilities. Valerie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Women & Gender Studies from SUNY Geneseo.
