LaToya Brown, Ed.D has a diverse work experience in the education sector. LaToya currently serves as the Director of K12 Adult and Community Education at Rowland Unified School District. Previously, they worked as the Director of Academics, Accountability, and Data at New Opportunities Organization, where they assisted with observations, facilitated professional development, and analyzed data to drive instruction. LaToya also founded and served as the Executive Director of One Step 4ward, an organization that provided education, vocation, and social service referrals for at-risk populations. In addition, they worked as the Career Technical Education Coordinator and Academic Advisor at Family First Charter School, overseeing the development of CTE programs. LaToya has also held roles as the Site Director at New Opportunities Organization, Educational Director at Rewards of Study Table, Digital Literacy Instructor at Family First Charter - LA County Sheriff, Computer Applications Instructor at LA Works, and Web Design Instructor at Tri-Cities ROP. Prior to their work in the education field, they worked as an Executive Assistant and Web Project Manager at Patients Unlimited Marketing Consultants.

LaToya Brown, Ed.D. pursued their education in a diverse range of fields. LaToya began by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre/Communications from California State University-Dominguez Hills in 2004. Later, in 2010, they completed their Master of Education (M.Ed) in Educational/Instructional Technology from the same institution. Seeking further specialization, LaToya pursued a Graduate Certification in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Walden University between 2016 and 2017. LaToya then attended Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where they obtained a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in Educational Leadership and Administration & Policy between 2018 and 2021. Building upon this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Global Leadership at the same institution from 2022 to 2024. LaToya Brown, Ed.D. has continuously expanded their knowledge and expertise in various fields throughout their educational journey.
