Bureau Chief Of Staff (investigation & Support Bureau) at New Orleans Police Department

Leatrice Latimore Jones has had a diverse range of professional experiences. Leatrice began their career at Southern University at New Orleans in 2006, where they held various roles including Interim Student Services Coordinator and Interim Director of Recruitment, Admissions, and Retention. In 2008, they transitioned to the role of Learning Outcomes Assessment/Testing Coordinator and later became the Director of Student Financial Aid. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Interim Director of Recruitment, Admissions, and Retention. In 2013, they became the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management before leaving the university in 2017. Since then, Leatrice has worked as the Recruitment and Applicant Investigation Administrator at the New Orleans Police Department and is currently the Bureau Chief of Staff for the Investigation & Support Bureau. Additionally, they have also been a Principal/Senior Project Manager at On Point Consulting Solutions, LLC since 2012.

Leatrice Latimore Jones has a strong educational background, primarily focused on educational leadership and administration. Leatrice obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of New Orleans, where they studied from 2009 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Administration from the same institution, studying from 2004 to 2005.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Leatrice has also obtained certifications in Microsoft Office Suite programs. In September 2014, they completed the MSOS certifications for Microsoft Outlook 2013, Microsoft PowerPoint 2013, and Microsoft Word 2013 from Microsoft.
