Katy Hepner

Katy Hepner is an accomplished library professional with extensive experience in various managerial and service-oriented roles within public libraries. Currently serving as Regional Manager at the New Orleans Public Library since September 2019, Katy has effectively cultivated a transparent organizational culture, enhanced staff performance through training and evaluation, and managed community programming initiatives. Prior to this, Katy held significant positions at St. Charles Parish Library and St. Tammany Parish Library, where notable achievements included increasing summer reading program participation and securing grant funding for library projects. Katy's career also includes roles in education, youth programming, and publicity, complemented by a Master's degree in Library & Information Science from Queens College and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Pace University.
