Brendan Hassett has a long history of working in the media industry. Brendan started their career as a Runner for ESPN College Gameday in September 2010. In this role, they assisted the sideline reporter and provided information to the graphics crew. Brendan also managed the production area and aided any other employees with necessary tasks.
In September 2015, Hassett began working as a Digital Media Videographer/Editor for the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans. In this role, they utilized Adobe Creative Suite to edit graphics and packages for various video features, highlight packages, and social media content. Brendan also operated Sony and Canon cameras as well as any accompanying attachments. In addition, they created original video content by working collaboratively with marketing and corporate partnership to promote the Saints and Pelicans.
Hassett has effectively worked in a group setting in order to brainstorm content ideas, execute shoots, and communicate deadlines to ensure projects were completed accurately and on time. Their years of experience in the media industry have made him an asset to the New Orleans Saints organization.
Brendan Hassett received their undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University. Brendan then went on to earn their masters and doctorate in Communication and Media Studies from the same school.
They are on a team with Joshua Sige - Videographer & Content Creator, Janajia Walker-Holliman - Video Production Associate, and Shota Hashimoto - Motion Graphics Manager. Brendan Hassett reports to James Crosbie, Director, Video Production.
