Kathy Jackson has a wealth of experience in the banking industry. Kathy began their career at First Union in 1978, where they worked as a Customer Relationship Management Specialist and Executive Assistant for 20 years. In 1998, Kathy joined TruPoint Bank as a VP and Treasury Services Officer, holding this position until 2018. Currently, they are employed at New Peoples Bank, Inc. as a Senior Vice President and Retail Branch Administrator.
Kathy Jackson attended Southwest Virginia Community College from 1977 to 1978, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
From 2003 to 2005, Kathy Jackson attended the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia. Kathy earned a degree in Bank Management and specialized in Bank Administration.
In addition to their formal education, Kathy Jackson obtained a certification as a Licensed Insurance Agent in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This certification, in Life, Health & Annuities, was obtained in November 1992.
