Chelsea Dolan-Kuklinski is a skilled professional in human resources and the hospitality industry, currently serving as the People and Performance Coordinator at New Plymouth District Council since June 2022. Chelsea previously held the role of Human Resources Administrator within the same organization. Prior experience includes working as a Recruitment Consultant at Recruitment 360 Ltd and various positions in guest services at prestigious hotels such as InterContinental Hayman Island Resort and Grand Hyatt Melbourne. Chelsea began their career in hospitality at Hamilton Island and further developed skills in customer service and management while working in cafes and housekeeping roles. Educational qualifications include an International Diploma and Bachelor Degree in Applied Hospitality and Tourism Management from PIHMS.

We know it’s true and now it’s confirmed – we’re living in the Most Liveable City in the world! In 2021, New Plymouth was awarded the most liveable city (for a population between 75,000-150,000) by the International Awards for Liveable Communities. Our vision, mission and goals help us to prioritise what services to deliver to our community. They are the outcomes that we want to see locally – achieving them is not just a task for us though and require iwi, Government, not-for-profits and businesses to come together to achieve these outcomes.
