Rifat ibn Azad Tanim

Rifat Ibn Azad Tanim is a graduate with a diverse background in renewable energy and engineering. Currently working at New Power Partners since October 2022, Rifat previously completed a master's thesis at LHEEA Lab focused on real-time wave prediction simulations for floating offshore wind turbines as part of the FLOATECH Project. Rifat's earlier experiences include roles as Media & Marketing Secretary for BUET Automobile Club, Publicity Secretary for BUET Robotics Society, and Vice President of BUET Safety Movement Club, alongside being a team leader for various robotics and academic projects. Rifat holds multiple master's degrees in Renewable Energy in the Marine Environment from Centrale Nantes and Universidad del País Vasco, as well as a Master's in Science from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
