Nand Sharma

Nand Sharma is a seasoned private equity professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at New Private Equity since 2023, Nand focuses on investing in technology assets. Prior to this role, Nand was VP/GM at Rackspace Technology, overseeing the private equity unit's P&L and growth strategy. As North America Lead for Software Private Equity at Rothschild & Co from 2020 to 2022, Nand directed significant investments in the private equity space. Nand also has a background in controlling equity investments at Partners Group, where about USD 1 billion of capital was allocated, and held senior positions at Koch Equity Investments, allocating approximately USD 5 billion in capital. Nand's board experience includes GlobalLogic and Transaction Network Services. Nand holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MS in Econometrics/Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.Tech. in Infrastructure/Transportation from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
