Juan Velázquez

Juan Velázquez has a strong background in cost accounting and finance. Juan most recently served as a Manufacturing Cost Accounting Manager at New Process Steel starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Methode Electronics for six years, where they held multiple roles including Operations Controller, Costs Accounting Manager, and Cost Accountant. Before Methode Electronics, Juan worked as a Cost Accountant at The Manitowoc Company. Juan began their career at CUPRUM as a Cost Coordinator and later worked as a General Accountant at CIGEVISA. Overall, Juan has extensive experience in cost accounting and financial management within the manufacturing industry.

Juan Velázquez earned their Bachelor of Public Accountant degree in Accounting and Finance from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León from 2005 to 2009. Juan then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, General at Universidad Tecmilenio from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Juan obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Methode Electronics in March 2020 and the Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the same institution in March 2018.
