Boris Svetlitsky

Boris Svetlitsky has worked in the software development industry since 1994. Boris began their career as a Software Developer at Edunetics Ltd. in 1994. In 1998, they moved to Press-Sense Ltd. as a Software Developer and System Architect. In 2010, they joined Pageflex as a Tech Lead. In 2013, they were hired as a UX Development Manager at Asparna Ltd. Most recently, in 2015, they were hired as a Frontend Tech Lead at New ProImage LTD, where they were responsible for development of a Visual Layout Editor (mini-Photoshop) for effortless newspaper layout design (React + Redux), development of a Frontend framework-agnostic infrastructure (pure JavaScript), for the entire single-page workflow management web application (Vanilla JavaScript, Webpack, Node. js), and research of new ways to improve development process, performance optimization, and mentoring Junior Software Engineers.

Boris Svetlitsky obtained a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Tbilisi State University. In October 2021, they also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
