Laurie Alexander has over ten years of experience in the legal and business affairs field. Laurie is currently the Director of Legal & Business Affairs at New Regency Productions, a role they started in March 2020. Prior to this, Laurie served as the Director of Business & Legal Affairs at Constantin Film from June 2015 to March 2020. In this position, they drafted and negotiated various agreements, completed project signatory processes, and liaised with US counterparts.

Prior to their work in the entertainment industry, Laurie gained legal experience as a Clinical Extern at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where they trained as a mediator and facilitated conflict resolutions from May 2010 to November 2010. Laurie also served as a Legal Intern at Carter, Carter, Fries & Grunschlag from June 2008 to August 2008, assisting with drafting documents and conducting legal research for civil cases.

Laurie's early experience includes volunteer work as a Nightly Crew Volunteer at USC Trojan Vision in 2007, where they performed various technical roles for live shows, and as a Production Assistant at Warner Sisters Productions, where they assisted with production and post-production activities for a documentary.

Laurie Alexander started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California Psychology Department from January 2006 to April 2006, overseeing volunteers and managing the consent and debriefing process for research experiments.

Laurie Alexander obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Entertainment Law from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, during the period of 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California between 2005 and 2009. In 2001, Laurie Alexander received their High School Diploma from The Harker School.

In addition to their formal education, Laurie Alexander has also acquired certifications. Laurie completed a Cybersecurity Awareness: Phishing and Whaling course from LinkedIn in August 2021. Furthermore, they obtained a Notary Public designation from the California Secretary of State in November 2013.
