Garrett Olson

Garrett Olson is the founder and lead engineer at KindMind, an online journaling community established in 2014, focusing on emotional expression and reflection. Since January 2019, Garrett has also served as a senior software engineer at New Relic, Inc., utilizing React and TypeScript. Previous experience includes a software engineer role at Renew Financial, where Ruby on Rails and React were employed, and significant contributions at Rumblefish, leading a large-scale Ruby application project. Earlier in the career, Garrett worked at MINDBODY, Inc. as a QA software test engineer and scrum master, implementing automated testing frameworks and managing a major product redesign. Garrett holds a Bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
