Alan Hoffman

Alan Hoffman currently serves as the Chief Policy Officer at Rivian and holds the position of Chairperson and member of the Board of Trustees at New Roads School. Since 2013, Alan has been a board member and Chair of the Finance Committee for the National Alliance to End Homelessness. Prior roles include Chief Spokesperson and Head of Corporate Affairs at Carvana, board member at the California Science Center, and EVP Global Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer at Herbalife. Alan has also contributed as a board member for the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids and held a Senior Vice President position for Global Public Policy and Government Relations at PepsiCo. From 2009 to 2013, Alan was Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Vice President at The White House, following a role as Chief Operating Officer for the Obama Biden Presidential Transition. Alan holds a Juris Doctor and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree from Lafayette College.
