Kevin A. Kain

Kevin A. Kain, PP, AICP, currently serves as the Director of Planning and Sustainability for the City of New Rochelle since November 2014, previously holding the position of Senior Planner. In addition, Kevin operates as an Urban Planning Consultant, providing expertise in master plan documentation, zoning analyses, and development application reviews since March 2014. Kevin's prior experience includes serving as City Planner for the City of Peekskill, where responsibilities included grant administration and zoning research, and working at Burgis Associates, Inc. as an Associate, assisting municipalities and developers with planning and zoning issues. Early career roles included positions as a Project Planner for the Hudson River Valley Greenway and various internships focused on planning and surveying. Kevin holds an MRP in Urban & Regional Planning and an MA in Geography from the University at Albany, as well as a BS in Geography/Urban & Regional Planning from SUNY Oneonta.
