Melissa Diniz

Melissa Diniz is an experienced police detective with the City of New Rochelle, specializing as a youth detective and serving as the social media coordinator since August 2010. In addition to this role, Melissa has been the vice president of New Rochelle Pride, an LGBTQ+ organization, from January 2019 to May 2024. Prior to this, Melissa worked as an emergency medical technician with the New York City Fire Department from August 2003 to August 2010, during which time Melissa served as a certified lab instructor and emergency vehicle operator course instructor at the FDNY EMS academy from 2008 to 2010. Melissa holds a degree from Johnson & Wales University.
