Alexandra Thompson

Alexandra Thompson serves as the Assistant News Editor at New Scientist since March 2022, bringing extensive journalism experience from previous roles including Health Reporter at Yahoo from October 2019 to March 2022 and Senior Health Reporter at MailOnline from February 2017 to October 2019. Prior to these positions, Alexandra was an Investigative Reporter at BioPharm Insight from June 2015 to February 2017 and began their career as an Editorial Assistant at CIG Healthcare Partnership from February 2014 to June 2015. Alexandra holds a degree in Biology from The University of Leeds, earned between 2009 and 2012.
