David Stock FRGS has over 15 years of experience in the media industry. David currently works at New Scientist as the Head of Editorial Video, where they lead a team of producers to create and publish video content across various platforms. Prior to this, they held roles such as Senior Video Producer and Digital Visuals Editor at New Scientist. Additionally, David has worked as a Multimedia Researcher and Deputy Picture Editor at the same organization. Before joining New Scientist, they served as the Creative Director at Courtroom Productions and worked as a freelance Photographer and Videographer for davestockphoto.co.uk. David's early career includes a position as a Picture Editor at Newsquest, where they managed the picture-desk of a regional daily newspaper.
David Stock FRGS completed their undergraduate combined-honours degree in Media & Communications at Goldsmiths, University of London from 2003 to 2007. In addition, they obtained a certification in "After Effects CC 2018: Editors and Post Essential Training" from LinkedIn in November 2018.
