Chris Tjersland's work experience begins in 1987 at United Grocers, Inc where they worked as a Category Manager until 1994. From 1993 to 1997, they worked as an Account Executive at Johnson-Lieber. In 1996, they became a District Sales Manager - Oregon at Brach Confections, a role they held until 1999. From 1999 to 2008, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Malt-O-Meal Company. From 2008 to 2010, they were the Director of Business Development at Co-Sales Northwest. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Managing Partner at Ultimate Source. Finally, since 2012, Chris has been with New Seasons Market, first as a Partner Brands Development Manager and currently as the Director of Brand Strategy & Development.

Chris Tjersland received an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business from Clark College in 1984. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration from Linfield University in 1986.
