Scott Bayer

Scott Bayer is an experienced educator and pastor currently serving as the Pastor at New Song Community Church since September 2021. In addition to pastoral duties, Scott Bayer has been an Adjunct Professor at William Jessup University since June 2019, teaching courses such as Christian Foundations: Introduction to Old Testament and The Psalms and the Contemporary Church. As a Graduate Teaching Associate at Claremont School of Theology since August 2018, Scott Bayer has managed online content for courses like Introduction to Hebrew Bible and Introduction to New Testament. Scott Bayer also served as a Lecturer of Religion at the University of California, Riverside from April 2019 to March 2020, delivering lectures on various topics related to Western Religions and Religion and Violence. Scott Bayer holds a PhD in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament and Jewish Studies from Claremont School of Theology and has acquired various military and theological degrees from institutions such as Marine Corps University, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wheaton College, and Belmont University.
