Philip Burnett is an experienced Equity Research Analyst at New Street Research since September 2019, specializing in fundamental research of large-cap US telecommunication companies and supporting the coverage of 14 TMT companies by reconciling investment theses with data from news flow and earnings releases. Prior to this role, Philip Burnett worked as both a Researcher and Junior Researcher at the Economic Cycle Research Institute from July 2017 to August 2019, where collaboration on macroeconomic tools for forecasting economic growth and inflation in major economies was key, alongside data analysis to identify emerging economic opportunities. Philip Burnett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Political Science from Columbia University, earned in 2017.
