Anne Childers

Anne Childers is currently the Commissioner at the New Teacher Center. Anne has held this position since August of 2017. Prior to that, they were an Instructional Designer for School Leadership, Social, and Emotional Learning at the New Teacher Center from August 2012 to August 2017. Anne has also been a School Library Media Specialist at Saint Andrew's Episcopal School from January 2006 to December 2007 and an Elementary Teacher at Pajaro Valley Unified School District from August 2000 to December 2012. In their most recent position before becoming Commissioner, Anne was a Research, Accountability, and Assessment Coach at Pajaro Valley Unified School District from July 2017 to July 2019.

Anne Childers has a Master's in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism and Technical Communications from Colorado State University. Anne also has certification from the Elementary Education K-8 in Elementary Teaching Credential.
