Nina Perry CA (SA)

Nina Perry CA (SA) has extensive experience in the fields of accounting, financial reporting, and auditing. Nina began their career in 2007 as an Auditor at Mazars. In 2010, they joined WeiserMazars LLP as an Audit Senior, where they primarily performed full audits from planning to completion. In 2013, they moved to The Siegfried Group as an Accounting Manager, where they provided interim financial assistance to Fortune 1000 companies. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Director at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB, where they were the Data Domain Lead for Finance and Risk Data, and the Data Quality Lead for the Americas Regional Data Management Office. Currently, Nina is the Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting at New Theory Ventures, and is also the Treasurer at Societe Generale Toastmasters.

Nina Perry has an extensive educational background. Nina attended Deutsche Schule Kapstadt from 1990 to 2001. Nina then went on to the University of Cape Town, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Accounting from 2002 to 2004. Following that, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Law in Tax Law from 2005 to 2006, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) from 2006 to 2007. In 2010, they became a Chartered Accountant (SA) through SAICA. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Dog Emotion and Cognition from Coursera in October 2021, Data Analytics Essentials from Coursera in September 2021, and Financial Markets (with Honors) from Coursera in December 2019.
