Joan Muth has extensive work experience in various accounting roles. Joan started their career as an Accountant at the National American Insurance Company of New York in 1979 and worked there until 1982. From 1982 to 1983, they worked as an Accountant at Lemmon Pharmaceuticals (Teva). In 1984, they joined the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network as an Accountant and worked there until 1985. Joan then transitioned to the New Vitae Wellness and Recovery in 1997, where they held various roles including Admissions/Marketing Coordinator until 2015, and later became the Director of Project Management.
Joan Muth obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Moravian University, attending from 1975 to 1979. Additionally, they acquired a certification as a Pennsylvania Notary Public from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in January 2017.

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery offers a comprehensive continuum of residential and outpatient behavioral health services to adults over 18. Our integrated model provides holistic, person-centered care to those we serve including families and allies. New Vitae Wellness and Recovery has developed specialized services to assist individuals that have encountered limited access to care, including young adults ages 18 to 25, veterans, and those recovering from brain injuries. Housing options, including personal care homes, 24/7 staffed apartments, and supported independent living apartments, are located in Bucks County and Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. New Vitae Mental Health Center, located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, offers a variety of outpatient services, including our partial hospital program, strength-based and trauma-informed planning and care, and Certified Peer Supports. In addition to the mental health center, New Vitae Wellness and Recovery facilities include Mount Trexler Manor, Quakertown House and multiple Young Adult and Pathways apartment locations.
